Title Review

A distinguished historian of Modern India presents the first-ever encyclopaedic account -- in historical perspective -- of the Canker of Communalism which has posed the gravest threat to India''s social and political unity both in pre-and post-Independence times.

The first three volumes examine aspects of the role played by Muslim Fundamentalists and the Muslim League in collusion with the British rulers in sowing the seeds of Muslim separatism. Which ultimately led to the Partition of the country. Also, expose in detail different points of view held by major nationalist leaders on the issue of Two-Nation Theory. The fourth volume deals with the acts of manoeuvring perpetrated by Mohammad Ali Jinnah in creating Pakistan. The fifth builds up perspective of Hindu-Muslim Conflicts in prepartion and Post-Partition India.
