Catering to the material needs of concerned scholars and researchers -- this publication is a compilation of about 700 basic documents from Indian and US official sources as well as important statements and interviews of Government leaders of the two countries. Painstakingly collected from widely scattered and enormous mass of authentic sources, these documents represent a judicious selection by the editor so as to reflect deeply on the evolution of all the important aspects and facets of Indo-US relations-political, economic, military and nuclear. Since in many cases, only the extracts have been provided, an exhaustive list of the sources of documents has been appended so as to facilitate an access to detailed information.
