This book provides a fresh insight into the history of Bhati rulers of Jaisalmer. Tracing the origin of Bhatis to the Yaduvansh, it explains why the Yaduvanshis, migrated to the Middle-East and Central Asia; and centuries later, why they refluenced Eastwards to Zabulistan, Afghanistan, Sindh and the Punjab to rule from Ghazni, Peshawar, Lahore, Mathura and Bhatner (Jaisalmer) by turns. Besides presenting the genealogy of Bhati rulers, it discusses in detail their politics and government, as also the art, culture and social life of Jaisalmer.
