Title Review

Of all the agreements entered into as a result of the Uruguay Round Negotiations, the TRIPS Agreement is one of the most controversial present work attempts to explain comprehensively the TRIPS Agreement and also explores its effect on the developing countries. After analyzing the negotiating history leading to the conclusion of the Agreement, the authors discuss the various provisions (article wise) and examine critically the case laws including the decisions of the panels/appellate body in the disputes arising out of the working of the TRIPS. In the process, the Indian and other national laws on the subject have also been referred to. The book concludes with authors'' incisive reflections on the TRIPS Agreement. For ready reference a copy of the TRIPS Agreement is annexed.
