As a part of the author''s pioneering research on Behavioural Aspects of Urban Migrants, this study focuses on the perception of local residents to the migrants from other Indian cities. Analyses the behavioural aspect of "an agglomeration of diverse communities" -- people of different socio-economic and cultural background -- in India : where diversity underlines the cultural life and political system. Examines in the process the distancing of communities, the diffusion of culture, and the acceptance parameter of the local residents.
