Title Review

Though John C. Calhoun and Mohammad Ali Jinnah lived in two different Continents and two periods of history, their lives and careers in many respects demonstrated remarkable similarities. This "innovative" study, first, analyses the evolution of political careers and behaviour of both the leaders in the midst of the then political climes of the countries. And then critically appraises the ''transformation phase'' in their careers: which saw them turning from nationalist leaders to sectionalist and separatist leaders.
