This book aims at highlighting the need and urgency of building high quality human resources in the field of agriculture by strengthening agricultural universities in India. The book sets out to critically review and evaluate developments that have taken place in higher agricultural education in the country during the last four decades in the context of its role and importance in country’s performance in agriculture sector.
