With the changed global agricultural scenario agricultural education must also change. Against this backdrop, present work is an attempt to address the various concerned issues. The book contains a total of 16 specific chapters with the overall theme of revamping agricultural education in the context of globalisation—specially written by select experts from state/national agricultural universities and research institutions of India. Three broad sections into which these chapters are divided are: Globalisation and need for change in Agricultural Education; New Frontiers in Agricultural R & D; and HRD in Agricultural Education, Research and Extension. Although, the book has been prepared in the Indian context, it has a high relevance in the field of higher agricultural education in all agrarian economies.
